You brave soul. If you're on this page, it means you're curious about applying to be a Monster House homeowner.
If you live in the LA area, Seattle area, Indianapolis area, Kansas City area, Atlanta area now is your chance.

You must be 18 years or older to apply, you must be able to provide proof of ownership of your property, you must be willing to leave your home for the duration of the remodeling process [expect a minimum of 5 to 7 days] and a camera crew will be required to videotape your time away from home [hope you are not camera shy!].

Most of all, we are looking for deserving, fun loving families who really, really want a theme we haven't done yet.

But if the above describes you to a T, all you need to do to be in the running is:

1. Fill out our application below — to download it to your own computer, just click on the Jump Menu above, The Download should begin automatically. Then just open it from your C drive, fill it out and save it (you'll be attaching it in an email to us).

2. Take photos of the front of your house (including yard), the back of your house (including yard), and the two rooms you feel need the most work.

3. Take photos of all your family members - if you can't e-mail them send them via snail mail to:

Then email the whole kit-n-kaboodle — in one email, please — to the email listed in the application.

One thing to note: Due to the high volume of applications, we cannot respond to everyone who'd like to appear on Monster House. If the producers are interested in interviewing you, they have your phone number! Also, the determination of who will be a participant in the program is within the sole discretion of DCI and the producer.

OK, last thing, which is some legal stuff: Any and all materials submitted to DCI and/or the producer as part of this application shall become the property of DCI and/or producer and shall not be returned.

Disclaimer: Applicant agrees to pay all federal, state, and local taxes, including income, use or sales taxes or any other governmental charges imposed on prizes, including the value of any goods or services received and cash gifts, if any, given to applicant or received by applicant by reason of his/her participation in the program, and applicant releases and indemnifies producer from any liability therefor. The applicant also authorizes producer to deduct or withhold any such taxes or charges that require a payment prior to delivery of said prizes, cash or gifts.
